Savory Granola



  • 125g or 1+1/4 cup oats
  • 1 Val Venosta Red Delicious Apple peeled and diced
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil


  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp flaxseeds
  • 1 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1 Tbsp sunflower seeds


  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp tumeric powdered
  • 1/2 tsp sweet paprika powdered
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 garlic clove peeled and cored


  1. In a medium bowl, mix oats with flax+sesame+sunflower seeds, rosemary,
    oregano, salt and powdered spices.

  2. Blend the apple dices with the oil and until

  3. Mix the apple sauce with the dried ingredients.

  4. Put the batter into a lined baking pan, add the garlic and bake at 160°C for about 50 minutes or until golden-brown and crispy (stirring with a tablespoon every 20 minutes). Once the granola is ready, remove the garlic, add the pumpkin seeds and let it cool.

  5. Store in a jar up to 10 days.
